Video of Gold Tiger Barbs.
The fish shown above are Tiger Barbs, but they are lacking some of the darker pigments. This is a so-called Gold strain or variety of Tiger Barbs. Fish farmers throughout the world are always looking for new color varieties. When they find a good one, they try to produce it in large numbers.
Tom talks about his new Mbuna Aquarium, which is 55-gallons with a Penguin 350-filter, about 1/4" of aquarium gravel, lots of Cichlid Stones, plus about 19 large Mbunas, one medium size Mbuna, and lots of small baby Mbunas that are a week to 10-days old. Tom talks about feeding his Mbunas, and about using Amquel+ to keep the water conditions right. Click here to see a video of this aquarium.
Evan from Colorado sent us a link to a video that he recently made of his new school of Serpae Tetras. Click here to see Evan's video.
