Hey you, "This is my Cave !!"
The video, shown above, was recently recorded in Tom's 55-gallon Mbuna Aquarium and shows a Male Mbuna Cichlid quarreling wi Three Beacon Plecostomus catfish about which one of them occupies the cave. A few seconds from the beginning of this video both fish are in the cave. Then both exit. Quarrels like this between various fish in an aquarium are quite common. Usually, as in this case, neither fish is hurt. But this particular quarrel was a rare sighting. It's fun to sit and watch your aquarium to see things that are rarely seen. The Bailey Brothers, Tom and Nevin, encourage you to call during the show and talk about this video with them.

Long, long ago Tom and Nevin a had a pair of this species that were about 4" to 5" long and spawned in a 15-gallon aquarium. It was lots of fun and Tom and Nevin will talk about their experiences during this show.

Fish in the News from Robert in New Jersey
Hi Tom & Nevin, here are this weeks and some of last weeks fish in the new I sent them last week’s but the email came back to me and I was not around to resend them. I have a question that I think might be for Nevin this week it’s about carbohydrate in fish food and how important they are in fish development as well as long term health some of these high protein foods have as little as 10% what are your thoughts? Your friend, Robert in NJ
"Here is the photograph of the mystery fish. It may be living near you!" Call during the show and identify this fish or send us an email. Jourdan will identify this fish next week.
