Another Wonderful Illustration from Andy in the UK !!
Hi Tom and Nevin, It's Andy from the UK checking in, I haven't had much free time lately, but when I saw your video of that wonderful Copper-Banded Butterfly a few weeks ago, I had to sit down and knock up this cheeky little illustration. What a character that fish is, not to mention how beautiful he was. It almost makes me want to set up my own reef tank! Keep up the good work, Andy in the UK.
One of a growing number of less-than-flattering threads about the new Stealth Pro line of heaters. Looks like the older Stealths are still the way to go, Stealth Pro seems to have some rather serious issues. The link above (featuring pictures) is about a Stealth Pro that exploded, shattering the side of a 75g tank! Thanks, Dan in St. Louis
About two weeks ago we received a nice big envelope in the mail from Antonio. He'd sent us pictures. The top picture shows his Jack Dempsey pair with an immense spawn of eggs on a rock. Antonio also sent several other interesting pictures and a DVD with a video of his fish and newly hatched baby fish and his saltwater aquarium and lots more. We can't figure out how to get the video from the DVD into this web site. Thank you Antonio for the pics and video.
Callers during this Show
Carl from Albuquerque calls and says
he's worried about our comments earlier in this show about a Stealth Pro aquarium heater recently exploding, and so he's going to buy a different brand to replace his Stealth Pro. Carl also said he recently bought a used 100-gallon glass aquarium for $150.00 and plans to keep Mbuna Cichlids in it. Tom's head nodded up and down in approval.
