One more item re: Visi-Therm Stealth Pro heaters - I have read in online forums that Marineland will replace the Pro model with your choice of another "Pro", "Stealth"-the unbreakable one or "Deluxe"-glass one.
Above are two recent pictures of Tom's Serpae Tetras. Tom put a new red plastic plant in the aquarium with these Serpaes, and they immediately began to swim very close to the new plants, turned much darker red, and became more quarrelsome with each other.
Tom's Clown Loaches
These Clown Loaches stay close together. In the picture, shown on top, you can see three of them hovering over an opening in a natural looking ceramic ornament. Later a single Clown Loach was back hovering over the same opening.
One of Tom's Angelfish
This is male. He's been in Tom's Angelfish Aquarium for about 18-months and has grown from a little angel to be a great big guy. He often shows some green with red specs.
Callers during this Show
Ronnie in Missouri
calls and talks about premium fish foods with some comparisons between two brands, and about feeding baby fish such as baby Angelfish.
Carl in Albuquerque calls and thanks Nevin for shipping him some nice Angelfish, which were recently shipped by AquariumFish.net in the late afternoon from San Diego, California, and arrived the next morning at 9:00 am at Carl's house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Carl says the Angelfish looked good. He put them in his 70-gallon aquarium, and they were soon eating. Some of the Angels were Pearlscales that Carl really likes, but Carl wonders if the Koi Angels will eventually get some orange coloration.
Evan from Colorado calls and talks some more about the new Anemone that he recently bought for his 72-gallon saltwater aquarium. Then Evan talks about fish photography, which is his second hobby. Evan says he's now got a really nice Canon PowerShot G-10. Evan says he and his family are all going scuba diving in Hawaii this summer, and they want to use their PowerShot to take pictures underwater, so they recently bought an underwater housing.
