Tom's 29-gallon Aquarium
You'll notice some of the fish from the recent still pictures. There fish are all energetic, colorful, and growing fast, because they are eating premium food for pet fish.
Red Eye Red Swordtails
These Swordtails recently came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium and to get their pictures taken. The are both very beautiful.
Very Young Gold Tiger Barbs
These very young and very small Gold Tiger Barbs also recently came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium. When they started quarreling among themselves, Tom got his camera and took these pictures.
A young mature male Marigold Variatus Platy
This young fellow has been living in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium for several weeks. He is rather elusive and difficult to photograph, but Tom's seems to think he finally got a couple of pretty good pics of him this week.
Above: a young male Red Mickey Mouse Platy
This young guy also came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium several weeks ago. Tom like to get his big magnifying glass and watch a fish like this one. Then Tom tries to take a pictures that really captures what he sees through the magnifying glass. This fish is really about an inch long without a magnifying glass.
Fish in the News from Brad in Michigan
Hey guys,
Just read this story. Really sad to think fish are actually consuming the toxic chemicals that are being used to combat the oil spill. Concerning to think that humans may ingest these chemicals from seafood. Brad in Troy, Michigan.
Hi guys, this is Roland from San Antonio, Texas, and just wanted to show the recent update to my 55 gallon planted tank. I just added seven Discus fish to the tank and will try to call the show to talk about the adjustments made so far to the system to keep these type of fish. Take care for now. A pal, Roland
