New Mollys visiting Tom's 29-gallon Aquarium
On Sunday night I visited what we call the Fish Facility, where the fish from AquariumFish.net are shipped. While I was there, I talked with Freddie and TheBigKatuna. Just before I left, they caught me some "new" Mollys, including the male and female, shown just above. Until I saw these, I'd never seen Mollys with such unique camouflage patterns. Both of these new fish are doing very well, and I like them a lot. Click here to buy Mollys, but you won't see these types of Mollys listed at that link. Call or email Freddie, and he'll help customize your fish order.
Gold Zebra Danios
These are young Gold Zebra Danios that came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium last Wednesday just before last week's show. They are wonderful aquarium fish and almost make up for the fish that they replaced. These Danios are very young and less than an inch long, but have excellent color and are in excellent health. Very very good fish. The three lower fish in the picture look like females with rounded bellies full of pink eggs, The fish on the upper right looks like a young male. Tom and Nevin will talk about these fish during the next show. Click here to buy fish like these.
A young mature male Kohaku Swordtail
This guy has lived in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium and had his picture taken many times in the past several weeks. Tom likes him a lot and is having a hard time sending him back with Nevin. Click here now to buy Swordtails like this one.
A young male Red Mickey Mouse Platy
This guy has also lived in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium for quite a while and had his picture taken just about every day. This week his coloration is so bright that you can just barely see the Mickey Mouse markings on the base of his tale. A very beautiful fish, and he is also hardy and energetic. Click here to buy Platys like this one.
A young male Gold Nugget Molly
This handsome young lad came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium a few weeks ago. Nevin has brought lots fish for this aquarium in the past few months. This was one of the few that got clamped fins and did not acclimate very well. Tom turned up the temperature in the aquarium about 4-degrees F., and in a few days this fish recovered. Now he's in full color, full of energy, and growing fast. Click here to see another picture of this fish and to buy Mollys like this one.
Angelicus Botia
This little fish is about 1.25 inches long. It came to live in Tom's 29-gallon aquarium a couple of weeks ago and to have its picture taken. It's been eating lots of premium fish food and getting plumper, which is good. Click here to buy an Angelicus Botia.
