Weekly Fish ID-Quiz - Just for Fun !!
Each week we post some new pictures here on the Listening Guide for this week's show, and we leave the names off. It will be a good exercise for you to try to identify the item in each picture. Some pictures will probably be easy to identify, but others will probably be difficult. Tom and Nevin will identify each picture during the first few minutes of this show.
An Email from Andy in the UK
Hi Tom and Nevin, Its Andy from the UK here. Unfortunately it has been a few months since I have followed Petfishtalk since I have had an extremely busy few months. I was very sorry to hear the news of Robert's passing, he will surely be missed by all the listeners and my thoughts go out to his friends and family. It has been really encouraging to see everyone clubbing together to chip on where Robert left off by contributing to FITN and Petfishtalk in general.
Hi Tom and Nevin, I recently returned 11 Marineland heaters, including original Stealth heaters and the newer Stealth Pros, to United Pet Group, the company handling the returns. I included a letter outlining what I was returning and received a check in the mail in two weeks. I had to call their customer service only once because the post office misrouted my package. However, Customer Service was very professional and helpful. I found the reimbursement amount reasonable for the heaters I returned.
Just wanted to share.
Bonnie from Iowa calls and says she finally got her computer fixed and all of her goldfish moved from their winter home in her garage back outside in her ponds. Her homemade pond filters that she heard about in an email from another listener to Pet Fish Talk, Brian in the UK, are working great. One of her goldfish is now 6" long and growing. She gives some good advice to listeners, who want to start a backyard pond.
