Weekly Fish ID-Quiz - Just for Fun !!
Each week we post some new pictures here on the Listening Guide for this week's show, and we leave the names off. It will be a good exercise for you to try to identify the item in each picture. Some pictures will probably be easy to identify, but others will probably be difficult. Tom and Nevin will identify each picture during the first few minutes of this show.
Hi guys, Sorry I haven’t been able to call with a fishroom update, but I did finally get the second rack built. I have also made a video which I posted at YouTube here:
Give it a watch and any suggestions would be appreciated. If you want to post on your site you may. Wish I could call and/or listen live, but I seldom get the chance. Will keep up through the podcasts though.
Talk to you later.

An Email from Shailesh in India
Hi Dr. Tom and Nevin,
Here is that smart Spider under water.
Shailesh is referring to the story at the link from Dan in St. Louis, above, titled "Not a fish, but an aquatic spider … in the news." Wow!!! What a great video ... don't miss it. Thanks, Shailesh!!!
Callers during this Show ;^ }
Web from Lake Jackson, Texas, calls and tells Tom and Nevin that his two Black Bull Head Catfish have spawned. Before they spawned, Web had named them Big Jim and Little Jim, but now they are Big Jim and Jemima. Web, who is 8-years old and lots of fun to listen to, says the eggs have been changing color. Tom and Nevin ask Web about the size of his aquarium, what he feeds the adults, and what he plans to feed the babies, after the eggs hatch. Web is lots of fun to listen to.
