Each week we post some new pictures here on the Listening Guide for this week's show, and we leave the names off. It will be a good exercise for you to try to identify the item in each picture. Some pictures will probably be easy to identify, but others will probably be difficult. Tom and Nevin will identify each picture during the first few minutes of this show.
Hi Tom & Nevin, Conor here from Armagh, Northern Ireland, after 18 years working the night shift in a local factory I finally took the brave step 8 months ago and opened my own aquatic retail store. I love my job working with freshwater fish and so excited with my newly setup marine section that is just up and running, I constantly play pet fish talk in my shop and tell my customers to check out your site. For my upcoming vacation trip to the Philippines, just got an Nikon D3100 DSLR camera, it's sweet for a newbie ...Well you all take care for now, and will try to call in from the Philippines while I am there, Aug 17- Sep 09. Web from Lake Jackson, Texas, who is 8-years old, calls and tells Tom and Nevin more about his Black Bullhead Catfish that spawned back in June. Web now has about 30-babies that have doubled in size, since they hatched. They are now living in a 65-gallon aquarium, which has an algae problem. We also has a Mosquito Fish and two Toad Fish. Best of all it sound like he's have lots of fun.

Joe from San Francisco, California, calls and asks about the new Ever-Clean Aquarium Filter he sent to Tom and Nevin for testing.

Paul in Delaware calls and says he's been following the advice given on Pet Fish Talk for the past 3-years and his aquarium has been great. But recently he did not do a partial water change for 3-weeks, and now his aquarium is slightly green with algae. Paul asks if he should add a chemical to remove the algae?
